For the second time, Naxalism has wreaked havoc in Tendupatta Phadon, which is becoming the target of red terror. After carrying out the incident of arson in 17 forest dwellers of South Manpur forest range, now 12 Tendupatta phads of North Manpur range have been set ablaze by the Naxalites last night. With the second major incident of Naxalites within 3 days, there is again panic about Naxalism in this Vananchal region.
It is worth mentioning that, on Friday night, Naxalites targeted 17 tendu leaves stored in Madanwada and Sitagaon police station areas of Manpur development block. The forest department and the district administration could not cope with the incident of arson, that in the meantime, in the middle of the night, the Maoists set ablaze 12 Tendupatta sheds of Kotri, Nedgaon, Ghotia Samiti in the North Forest Zone of Manpur development block. The Forest Department and Tendupatta contractor are in panic after the incident came to the fore. Today, after the Naxal incident came to the fore, the Forest staff was engaged in assessing the damages caused by the arson in the Tendupatta collection centers. According to departmental sources, for the second time the forest department has suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees.

Last night, the Maoist organization organized raids at the border villages of Kotri, Nedgaon, Devkonde, Jadetola, Gokultola, Mizgaon, Patel Para, Merkeli, Adkod, Kotri, Joshitola, Ranwahi, Pataljhari in Kanker district, adjacent to Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district. After this, the news of the drying tendu leaves being set on fire came to the fore.

Maoists have thrown a large number of Naxal leaflets after arson in Tendupatta Phad. The RKB Division Committee has written in a pamphlet that apart from giving Tendupatta a rate of 600 per hundred, beating the contractor for not giving the proper price, there is also a Naxalite order written in the pamphlet against the Bhupesh government of Chhattisgarh.
