Farmers gathered in co-operative banks: money came into the account, queue started since morning

Kush Aggarwal-Palari. The amount of the first installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana 2022-23, being given by the Chhattisgarh government, has come into the farmers’ account. As soon as this came, the farmers of Palari zone also reached the cooperative bank to withdraw money, due to which a huge crowd is being seen in the banks. Before the opening of the bank, there was a long line of farmers from 9 am itself.

Under the Nyaya Yojana, payment is being made to the farmers on behalf of the bank management after the release of the first installment of the scheme amount to the farmers’ account by the state government. Crowds of farmers are thronging in front of co-operative banks as soon as they get information from the state government that the amount will be deposited in the farmers’ accounts on May 21. The farmers told that the time for paddy sowing is about to come, so this amount will be very helpful for us to buy fertilizers, seeds etc.

The farmers thanked the CM

The farmers thanked Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and said that this time he has sold paddy at the support price and said that getting additional amount of paddy under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana would help financially. Also thanked for announcing the purchase of 20 quintals of paddy from next year.
