Jivanand Haldar / Jagdalpur. East Coast Railway General Manager Manoj Sharma reached Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh on Tuesday with his technical officers. He reached Jagdalpur station by passenger train after meeting with officials at NMDC Kirandul and Bacheli later this afternoon. Here GM Manoj Sharma discussed with the officials regarding increasing the loading-unloading of iron ore including siding. Also talked about improving the facilities of the passengers at Jagdalpur station. Jagdalpur station will be included in the count of better station
Talking to the media, the GM said that his visit was to see the works going on at the station. Along with this, Jagdalpur station has also been included in Amrit Bharat Yojana. After Visakhapatnam, Araku, Jaipur in KK Rail route, now Jagdalpur station has got place in Amrit Bharat station. In such a situation, all those facilities will be provided soon in the station. Entrance gate, ramp, lounge and FOB will be made. Along with this, he said that in the coming days, Jagdalpur station will be included in the count of better stations and the passengers coming here will get all kinds of facilities.
