Kawardha. A teacher became victim of a horrific road accident in Kawardha district of Chhattisgarh. Actually he was returning with a new bike. During this, he was turning to get petrol, when Scorpio first hit him and then dragged him for 60 meters. Due to this he died on the spot. This incident is of Pipariya police station area.
According to the information received, teacher Manoj Chandravanshi (37), a resident of Laghan Pandariya, went to Kawardha on Sunday morning to buy a new bike. There he bought the bike and was returning. As soon as he turned to fill petrol near the petrol pump, he became a victim of the accident. Scorpio rider fled from the spot after the accident. By the time the people around reached there, he had died.
Police reached the spot
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. The relatives of the deceased were informed about this. After this, the police sent the dead body for postmortem. At present, the police has started taking further action after establishing a cordon.
