Raipur. State Congress Communications Department President Sushil Anand Shukla said, Bhupesh government’s education related policies are bringing a new revolution in the field of education. The government has kept education on priority and is constantly trying to provide a bright future to the children and youth of the state. During the 15 years of Raman government, more than 200 schools in tribal areas were closed due to Naxalism, which the government did the work of re-opening. Now the children of tribal area are getting education in their own village.
He said, 247 Swami Atmanand English medium and 32 Swami Atmanand Hindi medium schools are running successfully in the state. Children from poor families are getting free education in these schools. In view of the success of Atmanand schools, 422 new schools have been proposed in the coming session, out of which 252 schools will be opened in tribal areas of Surguja and Bastar divisions. Similar excellent colleges are being opened from the next session. The government has established 4 new medical colleges in the last 2 years as well as allowed one private medical college, due to which MBBS seats have increased from 1095 to 1820 in the state. With this step of the government, where the number of doctors will increase in one more state, the people of the state will get better health facilities.
