Jitendra Soni-Jashpur. BJP remains a constant attacker demanding arrest of the accused and action in the gang rape incident and Janmashtami controversy in Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh. Today, hundreds of women workers of BJP Mahila Morcha surrounded the residence of Jashpur MLA Vinay Bhagat demanding the arrest of the gang rape accused.
In Kunkuri, BJYM workers surrounded the office of Kunkuri MLA and Parliamentary Secretary U D Minj, demanding action against people of a particular religion who were preventing the celebration of Janmashtami. Here BJP workers also had a scuffle with the police. BJP members are demanding that MLA Vinay Bhagat is giving protection to the accused in the gang rape case that took place in Dangri Waterfall. BJP members have accused Kunkuri MLA UD Minj of trying to save the accused in the Janmashtami controversy. The demonstration in Jashpur was led by MP Gomti Sai and former minister Ganesh Ram Bhagat, while the demonstration in Kunkuri was led by BJP National Working Committee member Vishnudev Sai.
