Naushad Ahmed-Surajpur. In Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh, a polling worker who had gone for the assembly elections was beaten up by unknown people. The polling worker got injured in the beating. After the beating, the son of the injured polling worker brought his father to Bhatgaon police station and filed a case.
According to the information received, teacher Thakur Prasad, resident of Sohagpur village, was put on duty at the polling station of Pratappur on 17th November. Where on the day of polling, the health of polling worker Thakur deteriorated, who was admitted to Pratappur Hospital by the polling team. In such a situation, the polling personnel left for Jarhi from the hospital for his home in the evening and as it was night, he started resting near the Jarhi sports complex. During this time, some unknown people beat him badly and injured him. The next day, after getting information from his family members, he was brought home and there were injury marks all over his body. The police have registered a case against the unknown accused and started investigation.
