Due to lack of maintenance and negligence of sanitation workers, the environment of the city has started getting polluted due to the filth accumulated in the streets. Due to which the risk of infectious diseases has increased with the increase in mosquitoes in the city.
It is worth noting that World Cleanliness Day is celebrated to make people aware by finding solutions to deal with mismanaged waste and connecting it with the campaign being run for cleanliness. On this day, with public cooperation, the city is cleaned by taking out a rally regarding cleanliness. So that people can be made aware of the objectives of World Cleanliness Day. Even after this, the Nagar Panchayat did not appear to be very active regarding World Cleanliness Day. The filth spread everywhere in the city has exposed the intention of the Nagar Panchayat regarding World Cleanliness Day.

Although on this occasion the Nagar Panchayat organized a rally in the city to make people aware but forgot to clean the city. Due to which the situation of filth prevails in the city even on the occasion of World Cleanliness Day. In this regard, District Coordinator Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Umesh Rajwade said that the program is to be conducted for a fortnight on the occasion of World Cleanliness Day. During this time, along with making people aware, the city will also be cleaned.
