Akash Singh Pawar-Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi. In GPM district of Chhattisgarh, SST team has seized three containers filled with tobacco and gudaku. The value of the seized containers is said to be Rs 45 lakh. At present, the police have handed over the containers to the authorities for further action.
Let us tell you that in view of the assembly elections, continuous checking of vehicles is going on. In this connection, the SST team is checking vehicles in GPM district. During this time three containers reached there. On checking, Gudaku-tobacco was recovered from all three vehicles, the value of which is said to be Rs 45 lakh.
Vehicle seized and handed over to GST officials
During enquiry, it was revealed that the containers were headed from Delhi to Bangalore. Since the drivers did not have e-way permits, the police seized all three vehicles and handed them over to GST officials for further action.
