CG News: Chhattisgarh women’s handball team won bronze medal in the 37th National Games, became the winner by defeating Maharashtra.

Raipur. Chhattisgarh women’s handball team has won the bronze medal by defeating Maharashtra in the 37th National Games held in Goa. In a tough match in the first set, Maharashtra defeated Chhattisgarh by 13-12 points. In the second set, Chhattisgarh defeated Maharashtra by 15-12 points. After each set was tied, the bronze medal was decided by tie break penalty shoot out in which both the teams were tied on 4-4 points. In the second tie-break penalty shoot-out, Chhattisgarh won the bronze medal by defeating Maharashtra by 3-2 points. From Chhattisgarh, Priya scored maximum 8 points and Aarti Yadav scored 6 points.
