Raipur. Candidates of Sub Inspector Recruitment Examination in Chhattisgarh reached the Chief Minister’s residence and the bungalow of Deputy CM TS Singhdev on Tuesday. There he has demanded to release the exam results and give him joining before the code of conduct is implemented.
Candidates say that the recruitment process for Sub Inspector, Subedar and Platoon Commander, from physical examination to interview, has been completed on September 8. Therefore he has demanded to release the result.

The first advertisement for recruitment was released in 2018
Advertisement was issued for recruitment to 655 posts of Sub Inspector, Subedar and Platoon Commander in August 2018 during the Raman government. The recruitment process was stopped after the code of conduct and change of government in the state. After the candidates’ agitation, the Congress government increased the posts in 2021 and issued advertisement for 975 posts.
The physical for recruitment took place in July 2022. The main examination was held from 26 to 29 May 2023. The physical examination was held from 18th to 30th July 2023. The interview exam was held from 17 August to 8 September 2023. Candidates are now demanding the final selection list.
These allegations were made
The petitioners said that Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board is committing huge irregularities in the police recruitment process. Women are being recruited for the post of platoon commander. The marks of the written examination are also not being released.
The candidates had to protest regarding the delay in the examination. The examination was conducted on 29 January 2023 in Ambikapur, Durg, Jagdalpur, Raipur and Bilaspur. After the release of the results of the written examination, 105 petitions have been filed in the High Court.

According to the petition, out of the total posts, 247 posts have been reserved for Platoon Commander. It was clarified in the advertisement that women candidates will not be eligible for recruitment to the post of Platoon Commander. Even after this, more than four thousand women have been considered eligible.
Due to this, eligible male candidates have been hindered from the selection process. Along with this, 1900 posts are sanctioned for Ex-Servicemen, whereas the total number of eligible candidates is around 450.
