Anish Puri Goswami-Mohala. Within the last 24 hours, a mad dog had created terror in Mohla district of Chhattisgarh. The dog had bitten and injured about 50 people, including an ITBP jawan, the Collector’s gunman, many children, women and elderly people. Angered by this, the local youth killed the attacking mad dog.
It is noteworthy that, around 3 pm on Monday afternoon, news came out that a mad dog was biting and injuring people in Padhakodo and Harkutum villages, 8 kilometers away from Mohla city. The dog was attacking people as soon as they saw them and injuring them. After biting, he would leave the man and run ahead. Along with attacking humans, the dog also attacked the cows of the city. Due to which an atmosphere of panic spread in the entire area. There was chaos the next morning as a large number of injured people reached the hospital. Announcements were made through mike in the streets of the locality, warning people to be alert from the mad dog. After which the dog was killed in the presence of revenue staff, health staff and police force. Only then did people regain their senses.
