Jashpur. Pathalgaon police of Jashpur district of Chhattisgarh has arrested an accused along with 35 kg of ganja. The accused had hidden a consignment of ganja in his under-construction house, which, on the information of the informer, the police raided and recovered the accused and a large consignment of ganja.
According to the information received, accused Shivdhar Yadav had kept 35 kg of narcotic ganja in his newly constructed house in village Baturakchar under Pathalgaon police station area, information about which was given to the police by the informer. As soon as the information was received, the police raided the house of the accused and arrested him along with 35 kg of ganja. The value of the seized ganja is estimated to be around Rs 5 lakh. Let us tell you that a case under NDPS Act has been registered against the said accused in the past also, at present Pathalgaon Police has registered a case against the accused under NDPS Act and the investigation of the case is going on.
