On Friday, the police and FST team recovered a cache of sarees during investigation in Tikrapara of the capital Raipur.
According to the information received, the police and FST team have seized a box filled with 14 cartoon sarees while taking them for distribution to the public in Tikrapara area of the capital Raipur. In Tikrapara, the police and FST team were checking vehicles, while a van was carrying sarees. When the van was stopped, 14 cartoon sarees were found in it, for which when the police interrogated the driver, he started giving vague answers, after which the police confiscated the sarees. Police suspect that it might have been ordered by some candidate for distribution in the area, the driver has been taken into custody and inquiries are ongoing. As soon as they got information about the matter, local people reached the police station demanding action.
