Dhamtari. A bear was seen roaming in Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh on Thursday morning. Seeing the bear roaming like this in the city, there is an atmosphere of fear among the people. Seeing the people, the bear is also running here and there in fear. After this, its information was given to the Forest Department. As soon as the information was received, the Forest Department team reached the spot.
In fact, on Thursday morning, a bear suddenly came near the Vijay Tahir firecracker shop behind the Gurudwara of Motor Stand Ward. Seeing the bear roaming like this, there is an atmosphere of fear among the people. Around 6 o’clock people saw it and informed the forest department. The team has reached the spot. It is being told that the bear entered from Nahar Gali. First climbed the guava tree and started eating the fruit. After this, moved forward towards the clump. The people around are still inside the houses due to fear. Even the children could not go to school. People from different areas are reaching to see the bear, while the Forest Department team has stopped it by putting a net.
Tranquilizer ordered from Raipur
The Forest Department team told that the staff including Manoj Vishwakarma, Ranger Jyoti Gupta, Umesh Singh, Rakesh Tiwari, Shashikant Sahu, Priyanka Sharma, Jitendra Soni, Arjun Nirmalkar, Bhagatram Chelak are present. Officials told that tranquilizer has been brought from Raipur, till then the bear is being monitored. The forest department team is appealing people not to go near the bear.
