Raipur. Chhattisgarh has been experiencing severe heat for the last several days. Although there was light rain for a day or two in the meantime, but still the torture of heat continues. Now people troubled by this scorching heat are going to get some relief. In fact, it is partly cloudy in many areas of the state today i.e. on Sunday. While issuing an alert, NDRF has expressed the possibility of lightning, thunderstorm and rain in many districts of the state. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of lightning and thundershowers in Raipur, Balod, Balodabazar, Dhamtari, Durg, Gariaband, Kondagaon, Mahasamund and Rajnandgaon in the next two and a half hours.
