Some parties are still stuck at polling stations
A day before the voting, 29 polling parties were sent from the district headquarters to the highly Naxal affected polling stations with the help of helicopters. The polling parties have been brought back safely after the elections ended on November 7. In this, eight polling parties from Orchha are stuck there due to non-arrival of helicopters. Similarly, the group of Dhanora and Akabeda are also waiting to return home. In this matter, the Additional Superintendent of Police says that considering the sensitivity of the area, the polling parties are being returned. A helicopter has been sent to return the polling parties. Efforts will be made to ensure the return of all the parties by late evening.
