Vijay Pandey-Kanker. After the martyrdom of three soldiers in Chhattisgarh on Saturday morning, another bad news has come in the evening. Naxalites shot at 5:30 pm an army soldier who went to see the chicken market in Useli’s market under Amabeda police station area of Kanker district. The jawan died on the spot. As soon as the news was received, Amabeda police reached the spot and got the body sent to Antagarh for PM.
According to the information received, there is a market in Useli on Saturdays, there is a chicken market near the market place. Bade Tevda resident army man Motiram Aanchle’s father Balsai Aanchle had come on leave a week back and on Saturday 25th February reached Useli Bazar to see the chicken market, where the Naxalites ambushed the army man and fired three shots at the army man. But he died. There was chaos on hearing the sound of the bullet. Naxalites usually throw banners and leaflets after shooting, but after firing, Naxalites shook the dead body and saw that it had died, after that they left from there towards the forest. According to eyewitnesses, the number of Naxalites was three and they took out a pistol from their bag and fired. The people who reached the chicken market said that there were three gunshots. The army man has a bullet wound on his head and a bullet wound on his eye.
A similar incident happened on March 21, 2022 as well.
Home Guard soldier Sanjay Kunjam, who had reached the chicken market in village Gumjheer under Amabeda police station, was killed by the Maoists at around 4.30 pm on March 21. During the murder, there was a stampede in the chicken market. Even after such incidents happen in the chicken market, the jawans do not take lesson and are negligent, due to which such incidents happen.

Confirming the incident, DSP Dr. Anurag Jha said that the deceased is an army man and had come on leave a week back. The incident took place only when the army personnel reached the rooster spot in Useli market. Amabeda police is searching the area. According to the information received so far, the number of Naxalites was three. Police is investigating the matter.
