Police arrested bookie Siddharth Bangani and seized 1 mobile phone used in betting operations from his possession and registered an offense against him under Section 07 of the Gambling Act and Chhattisgarh Gambling (Prohibition) Act 2022.

On questioning him, he told his name to be Siddharth Bangani resident Gobra Navapara. When the team members checked the mobile phone kept with him, online cricket betting was found to be operating through Reddy Anna application in the mobile.

On the spot, the police had seized 3 mobiles and 25 thousand rupees from the accused. At the same time, 27-year-old Adarsh Jain was playing online betting by opening the link in Google Chrome by taking ID through Telegram. Police seized 1 mobile from the accused.
