Anganwadi workers-helpers strike over: After meeting the minister’s OSD, the women agreed

Raipur. The ongoing strike of Anganwadi workers and helpers in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur has ended. Anganwadi workers and assistants across the state were sitting on a dharna for 6-point demands including salary at the collector rate. It is being told that their strike was going to continue till January 27 if the demand was not met, but after meeting the OSD of Women and Child Development Minister Anila Bhediya, the Anganwadi workers called off the strike.

According to the information received, a state-level strike was going on at Budha Talab picket site for 6-point demands. Thousands of Anganwadi workers had gathered at Budha Talab site regarding this. Due to this, there was a lot of jam near Budha Talab. Due to this, the passengers had to face trouble. Crowds of workers were seen at many places in the capital, due to which the situation of jam remained at many places. This evening police and administration officials came to talk to him. Then the agitators put a condition of meeting the minister’s OSD. The administration accepted their demands and arranged a meeting. After this the strike was called off.
