Kawardha. The police of Kawardha district of Chhattisgarh have arrested 27 accused of cheating from different states continuously against the swindlers. This gang had cheated an amount of more than 21 lakhs. All the accused used to cheat people by running fake call centers in Kolkata in the name of installing towers. This whole matter is of Kadi police station area.
According to the information received, the names of the accused are Rinki Sao father Narayan Sao Pal Fish Market Kolkata, Priyanka Chaudhary father Jitendra Chaudhary, Kamini Poddar father Rajesh Poddar, Rohit Sao father Shivkumar Sao, Pinky Rajbhar father Lakhi Narayan Rajbhar, Pooja Singh father Mahesh Singh, Anil Sah father Ajay Shah, Pooja Sharma father Vinod Sharma, Gopal Kandar father Bholai Kandar, Samsud Hussain father Manobbar Hussain, Ramkumar Sao father Shivkumar Sao, Bina Sao father Sitaram, Vishal Seth father Uttam Seth, Pooja Das father Sukumar Das, Juli Singh father Bharat Singh, Sneha Pal father Dulalchand Pal, Pooja Rai father Ranjit Rai, Madhu Yadav father Deepak Yadav, Anku Gupta father Sanjay Gupta, Puja Paswan Kolkata, Indrojit Das father Sanjeev Das, Aasima Rai father Moh. Mansoor Ali Kolkata, Saloni Priya Singh, Varun Singh alias Mayank Singh father Mangal Singh, Madhu Singh Kolkata, Rajneesh Singh, Deepika Mandal father Sapan Mandal have been arrested. Acting on the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case against all the accused under Section 420, arrested them and sent them to judicial remand. All the accused are residents of Bihar and Kolkata.
Police took action on the complaint of the victim
The name of the victim, Devdutt Chandrakar father Baijnath Chandrakar resident Rampa Kabirdham was called from unknown mobile numbers in the name of installation of Reliance Jio and Airtel mobile towers. The accused had duped the victim of lakhs from different bank accounts by luring her with various kinds of inducements. Based on the report of this case, the police had framed the crime and taken it into consideration. Police arrested the accused by collecting transaction reports and other information from the banks.
