JDU has issued an order to all its MLAs to return to Patna. All the BJP leaders are holding urgent meetings with the high command in Delhi. Talks are also going on with all the allies of NDA.

majority figure 122
Nitish Kumar had contested the assembly elections in 2020 with BJP. But after just 2 years, Nitish Kumar turned around and formed the government with Bihar’s largest party RJD. In the 2020 assembly elections, JDU contested 115 seats, BJP 110 seats. BJP performed brilliantly and managed to win 74 seats, while Nitish’s party could win only 43 seats. Lok Sabha seats will be deducted from JDU’s account
Sources say that BJP has put strict conditions before Nitish. In which a game plan has been prepared from nomination of Assembly Speaker to cabinet reshuffle. The most important is the distribution of Lok Sabha seats. There will also be a reduction in the Lok Sabha seats given to JDU. In 2019, JDU contested 17 seats and won 16. But considering the adjustments of other NDA allies, this time Nitish Kumar may have to be satisfied with 12-15 seats.
