RJD chief Lalu Yadav has once again come into limelight. Lalu Yadav, father of Bihar’s deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, has recently returned from Singapore after undergoing a kidney transplant. The controversy has started again as soon as he comes back. Lalu Yadav was inside the jail for a long time in the fodder scam case. But Jharkhand High Court granted bail to Lalu Yadav, after which Lalu Yadav is out of jail. But once again the crisis of fodder scam seems to be looming over Lalu Yadav. On February 24, the CBI filed a petition in the High Court against Lalu Yadav in the Deoghar treasury case. In the petition, a demand has been made to increase the sentence of Lalu Yadav. The court said that the matter will be heard after 4 weeks.

The CBI, while filing its petition in the court, said that Lalu Prasad Yadav was to be sentenced to seven and a half years in the Deoghar treasury case, but he was granted bail after serving three and a half years. Based on this, the CBI has given a petition against Lalu Yadav and demanded to increase the sentence of Lalu Yadav. The CBI petition has increased the concern of Lalu Yadav and RJD. If the decision comes in favor of CBI then Lalu Yadav may have to go to jail again. Due to old age, Lalu Yadav has often started staying ill. His kidney has been operated. In such a situation, if Lalu Yadav has to go to jail, then his health may deteriorate further.

Let us tell you that the court had ordered to remove the names of two convicted Phoolchand Singh and RK Rana in the case. Because an intervention petition was filed in the court, stating that Phoolchand Singh and RK Rana have died.
