Manish Kashyap, who has been absconding for the last two days, has surrendered before the police. Police had arrived on Saturday morning to seize the attachment of Manish Kashyap’s house, when Kashyap surrendered himself. Kashyap is accused of spreading fake news about the thrashing of workers from Bihar in Tamil Nadu. Bettiah Superintendent of Police Upendra Nath Verma has given information about the surrender of Manish Kashyap. 6 teams of Economic Offenses Unit along with Patna and West Champaran Police were continuously raiding the hideouts of accused Kashyap for the past few days. Eventually the cat-mouse game ended and Kashyap surrendered fearing attachment of the house.

A few days ago, while posting a photo of handcuffs, he wrote that I have been arrested by the police. On this, the Bihar Police had made it clear by tweeting that Manish and Yuvraj have not been arrested. That post is fake. Manish had posted this to spread the rumor of his arrest. On this charge EOU had registered FIR No. 5/23 against Manish.
