Bihar News: Bhim Army leader Rakesh Paswan was murdered on Thursday evening, a day before Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti. After this, resentment spread among the people of the Dalit community. When the funeral procession of Rakesh Paswan, a resident of Pachdamiya village of Lalganj police station area of ​​Vaishali was taken out today, his supporters protested and raised slogans. During this, the angry mob vandalized fiercely. When the police tried to control the ruckus, there was a fierce clash between the supporters and the policemen. The supporters set fire to several shops. Though the situation was brought under control later, tension still prevailed.

According to media reports, Rakesh Paswan was sitting at the door of his house on Thursday evening. Meanwhile, the bike-borne criminals came and fired at them. During this, Rakesh was hit by 4 bullets, in which he was badly injured. When her maid came out of the house after hearing the sound of firing, the criminals fired at her as well and fled from there waving weapons. In a hurry, Rakesh Paswan and the maid were admitted to the hospital, where doctors declared Rakesh brought dead. The relatives informed the police about this. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem.

People got angry when there was no clue of the miscreants

Police immediately blockaded to nab the criminals, but could not find any clue of the accused. There was a lot of anger among his supporters due to the death of Rakesh Paswan. Even till morning, when the clue of the criminals was not found, they became even more furious. When Paswan’s last journey was being done, his supporters started raising slogans against the police and the government. When the police tried to stop them, a violent clash broke out between the supporters and the police. After this, angry supporters started vandalizing and also set several shops on fire. Seeing the nuisance of the protesters, additional police force was called and a lot of effort had to be made to control the situation. DSP Devendra Prasad told that the police of many police stations are on the spot. The situation is now under control, but tension remains.
