Youtuber Manish Kashyap: Famous YouTuber Manish Kashyap of Bihar, who was involved in the alleged case of assault and violence against migrant Biharis in Tamil Nadu, has got a big relief. According to media reports, a court in Madurai, Bihar has accepted his bail application. Besides, the NSA (National Security Act) imposed on him has also been lifted. Doubt remains on the immediate release of Manish Kashyap because many cases are registered against him in Bihar also. The remaining cases against him will continue for now.

There were reports of assault and violence against migrant Biharis living and working in different districts of Tamil Nadu. After the matter heated up, a team of Bihar officials went to Tamil Nadu and the investigation was completed. During investigation, it was revealed that some people had made a fake video and made it viral with the aim of spreading hatred. During the investigation, information about Manish Kashyap’s involvement came to light. YouTuber is accused of making fake videos and airing them to spread hatred. In this matter, apart from Tamil Nadu, many cases were registered against him in Bihar also.
Kashyap was taken from Patna to Tamil Nadu
Earlier, the Tamil Nadu Police team had obtained a production warrant from the court and brought it from Patna. Madurai Court had sent YouTuber Manish to judicial custody till April 19. Earlier, the court had kept Manish in police custody. After this, an application was also filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of YouTuber in this matter, in which a request was made to unify the FIRs registered in different states. After this, the case was heard and the court ordered the case to be heard in the lower court.
However, Kashyap has been granted bail by the Madurai court in the fake video case and the NSA case against him has been dropped. The YouTuber is likely to remain in Patna’s Beur jail due to the financial irregularities case filed against him by the EOU.
