Wrestlers Protest: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal arrives at Jantar Mantar among wrestlers protesting against Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. During this, Kejriwal met the wrestlers. CM Kejriwal started the address with the slogan of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Inquilab Zindabad.
CM Kejriwal said that wrong happened with our wrestler sisters. Today those who bring laurels to the country are in trouble. Those who do wrong with them should be punished as soon as possible. The entire system is busy saving the accused, but such an accused should be hanged.
At Jantar Mantar, Kejriwal appealed to all the countrymen to come in support of the wrestlers. He said, people who love our country, be it from Congress, AAP or BJP and even if not associated with any party, they should come here to support the wrestlers.
Earlier this morning, Congress leader Priyanka Vadra Gandhi also reached Jantar Mantar to meet the protesting wrestlers. Let us tell you that top Indian wrestlers including Bajrang Punia, Vinesh Phogat and Sakshi Malik resumed their protest against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on 23 April. On the previous day, Delhi Police has registered an FIR against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh regarding the sexual harassment case.
