Also, people are not expected to get respite from the heat for the coming five days and will have to face the agony of scorching sun. Even in the month of September, the heat has broken many records.
Chances of rain in these states
People in Punjab will get respite from the heat. There is a possibility of partly cloudy sky in the state. At the same time, continuous changes are being seen in the weather in Haryana as well. Here too, the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy today. However, people are not expecting any respite from the scorching heat. Also, rains are expected in the South Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
Light to moderate rains can be recorded in the states of Northeast India, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. At the same time, the weather is changing again in Himachal Pradesh. An alert has also been issued for rain in some districts here. However, Monsoon activities have weakened over the state.
