New Delhi. Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin once again overpowered England captain Ben Stokes. Ashwin clean bowled Stokes in the second innings of Hyderabad Test. This was the 12th time that Ashwin took the wicket of Stokes in Test cricket. Stokes could score only 6 runs. Now Stokes has become Ashwin’s biggest victim in Test cricket. David Warner of Australia is in second place. Warner was dismissed by Ashwin 11 times in the Test. After this comes former England captain Alastair Cook. Cook has been out on Ashwin’s ball a total of 9 times.
The ball on which R Ashwin clean bowled Ben Stokes was an amazing ball. Ashwin had given some air to this ball and the ball was on the line of middle and off stump. For this reason, Stokes took his bat forward to play this ball. But, as soon as the ball hit the pitch, it went outside and Stokes missed the shot. But, the ball did not miss and flew straight to the off stump of Stokes.
Its video is going viral. Stokes could score only 6 runs after facing 33 balls. Not a single four came from his bat.

Ashwin dismissed Stokes for the 12th time
Ashwin had kept Stokes tied from the beginning and did not give him a chance to open his hands. Stokes tried hard, but he once again got trapped in Ashwin’s maze. This can be gauged from the fact that before the tea break, the England team could not hit any four in 65 balls and India had taken a total of 4 wickets in this session.
Stokes has scored 232 runs in 25 innings against Ashwin in Test cricket at an average of 19 and during this period the Indian off-spinner has dismissed him 12 times. With this, Ashwin equaled former Indian captain Kapil Dev’s record of dismissing a single batsman the most number of times in Tests.
