When this matter came to light, the Thackeray faction changed the name of the Twitter account to Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray. According to media reports, the blue tick disappeared from the official Twitter handle of Shiv Sena. After the removal of the name and symbol, the Uddhav Thackeray camp has deleted both the Shiv Sena Twitter handle and the Shiv Sena website.

On Friday, the Election Commission had approved the claim of Eknath Shinde on Shiv Sena party’s name and election symbol Dhanush-Ban. Only after this Shiv Sena changed the name of its official Twitter handle. However, no statement has come from the party or Twitter regarding this. According to Twitter’s rules, if a verified user changes his profile photo, display name or username, then he gets a blue tick.

Explain that after the Election Commission approved Eknath Shinde’s claim on Shiv Sena’s name and election symbol Dhanush-Baan, it was also reported that Uddhav Thackeray would go to the Supreme Court against this decision. At the same time, there is news of filing a caveat in the Supreme Court by the Shinde faction.
