Kumar Vishwas: The CRPF commando deployed for the security of poet Kumar Vishwas has been removed from duty. CRPF has taken this action after the road rage incident two days ago. In their place, another batch of commandos has been deployed on duty. This information has come to light on the basis of media reports.
Doctor accused of assault
Actually this incident happened on 8 November. At that time Kumar Vishwas was going from Ghaziabad to Aligarh to attend a program. Meanwhile, a doctor hit the car of the security personnel accompanying him with his car and allegedly tried to attack the security personnel. After this, when the security personnel tried to reason with him, he started beating him. However, the doctor driving the car had alleged that the armed personnel deployed for the security of Kumar Vishwas had assaulted him.
Kumar Vishwas also lodged a complaint in the police station
A complaint has also been lodged in the police station on behalf of Kumar Vishwas. According to Kumar Vishwas’ complaint, a car entered his convoy and tried to hit the vehicles traveling with him. When the security forces protested, the car driver attacked. However, the police investigation found that the allegations of attack were not proved.
CRPF took action
After information about the case came to light, CRPF has prepared a preliminary report on the incident based on some mobile videos and statements of the victim. The report states that whatever action will be taken in the matter will be shared with the Union Home Ministry and Kavi Vishwas. According to media reports, CRPF Director General SL Thaosen has ordered a Court of Inquiry after reviewing the incident. He said, prima facie investigation has found that standard operating procedures were not followed by the commandos.

Let us tell you that last year Kumar Vishwas had claimed to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal of supporting Khalistani supporters. After this statement of Kumar Vishwas, the Central Government had decided to give him VIP security. Y Category security of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was provided by the Centre. However, the allegations made by Kumar were rejected by Kejriwal.
