Major accident due to collapse of stadium in Telangana.
Telangana: A major accident took place in Kanakamamidi of Ranga Reddy district of Telangana on Monday. Actually, a part of an under-construction stadium has collapsed here, in which three laborers died and 10 laborers were injured. The injured were immediately admitted to the hospital for treatment. Where the condition of many people remains critical. There was chaos on the spot as part of the stadium under construction collapsed. Relief work is going on at the spot.
14 laborers were working
According to the information, 14 laborers were working at the spot at the time of the accident. It is being told that all the laborers working were residents of Bihar and West Bengal. Information about how the accident happened is not yet known, but it is believed that this accident happened due to the use of substandard material in the construction of the stadium, in which three laborers lost their lives. The deceased were identified as Bablu from Bihar and Sunil from West Bengal, while one other is yet to be identified.
Statement of Rajendra Nagar DSP
Giving information about the incident, Rajendra Nagar DSP Jagadishwar Reddy told the media that during the construction work of an indoor stadium, a part of the wall collapsed, trapping some laborers working there. As soon as information about the accident was received, the relief team immediately reached the spot and started rescue work. The official said that this is a private stadium.
