Telangana Assembly Election 2023: Congress released its manifesto for the people of Telangana on Friday ahead of the assembly elections. The party listed a total of six guarantees that would ensure the realization of the dream of Bangaru Telangana. What did Congress say in the manifesto
Rs 1 lakh and 10 grams of gold to all eligible women at the time of marriage under Congress Indiramma Uphaar Yojana. Free internet will be given to all students and free electric scooter will be given to all college going female students above 18 years of age. Rs 5 lakh to every college going student under Shiksha Bharosa Card to meet education expenses. Jangaon district will be renamed as Sardar Saravai Papanna Gaur district and drains will be modernized to make Hyderabad a flood-free city.
Rs 15,000 per acre per annum to tenant farmers and Rs 12,000 per annum to agricultural workers, social security system for all unrecognized sector workers including construction labourers, auto, cab drivers, Swiggy, Zomato workers, SCs in all private sectors And reservation for ST. This includes Rs 10 lakh under Arogya Shree to cover all major diseases. Congress has also said that they will set up 4 IIITs on the lines of Basar, one-time waiver of crop loans of Rs 2 lakh.
Kharge said – all promises will be fulfilled after coming to power
AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge said the promises made in the manifesto will be implemented if Congress comes to power. This time Congress will come to power in Telangana. This is people’s opinion.
