TATA WPL 2024: Schedule of Women Premier League-2 released, matches will be played in Delhi and Bengaluru from 23 February to 17 March.

TATA Women’s Premier League 2024 : The much-awaited second season of the biggest women’s T-20 league i.e. Women Premier League will be held in Bengaluru and Delhi from 23 February to 17 March. Five strong teams will participate in it. In which 20 league matches and two knockout matches will be played, in which great games and thrill are expected for the fans.

The upcoming season of WPL will have only single headers. That means each team will play each other only once. All matches will start at 7:30 pm Indian time. The first 11 matches will be played in Bengaluru, while the remaining 9 league matches and two playoff matches will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
 
The league will start with an important match between the defending champions Mumbai Indians and the first season’s runners-up Delhi Capitals. The next match will be played on February 24 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and UP Warriors at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Gujarat Giants will start the tournament by playing a match against Mumbai Indians.

The Delhi leg of the league will begin from March 5, with home team Delhi Capitals playing their first match against Mumbai Indians at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Like Bengaluru, Delhi will also host matches every day till the last league match on March 13. Once the league stage is completed, the team finishing first in the points table will directly advance to the finals.

The eliminator match will be played on March 15 between the second and third placed teams in the table. This match is expected to be thorny and exciting. The winning team of the eliminator will reach the finals. After this the final match will be played on March 17. In this, the title match will be played between the eliminator winner and the table topper.
