Parliament Special Session Agenda: The Central Government has released the agenda for the special session of Parliament. PM Narendra Modi had attended the election committee meeting to be held at BJP Headquarters yesterday i.e. on Wednesday. This meeting was being held under the chairmanship of BJP National President JP Nadda. In this meeting, BJP has announced the agenda for the special session being called from 18 to 22 September. Let us tell you that there was a lot of politics going on to release the agenda of the special session. Many allegations were being made against the BJP government by the opposition. The opposition was continuously demanding to release the agenda of the special session, finally the Center has released the agenda. However, out of the nine agendas suggested by former Congress national president Sonia Gandhi for discussion in the special session, not a single one has been included.

These 4 bills will be introduced

According to media reports, a total of 4 bills will be introduced in the special session of Parliament. The first is the Advocates Amendment Bill 2023, the second is the Press and Periodicals Registration Bill 2023. Let us tell you that both these bills were passed in the Rajya Sabha, now they will be introduced in the Lok Sabha. The third agenda is the Post Office Bill, while the fourth agenda is the Chief Election Commissioner and Other Election Commissioner Bills. Both these bills were also introduced in the Rajya Sabha on 10 August. Now these will be presented in the Lok Sabha.

The opposition was making these speculations regarding the special session

Let us tell you that the opposition was continuously raising questions regarding the agenda of the special session called by the government. The opposition demanded that BJP release its agenda before this session. Until BJP released the agenda, opposition leaders were making various speculations. Someone was saying that there would be discussion on One Nation and One Election, someone was saying that there would be discussion on India and the name India. A leader of Maharashtra even said that there will be a discussion on making Mumbai a Union Territory.

Sonia Gandhi had suggested these 9 agendas

Former National President of Congress Sonia Gandhi wrote a letter to PM Narendra Modi regarding the special session of Parliament, in which 9 agendas were suggested for discussion in Parliament. Sonia said that if these agendas are included in this session, we will definitely be a part of it. Let us tell you that the agenda suggested by Sonia Gandhi includes inflation, MSP for farmers, formation of JPC in Adani case, Manipur violence, Haryana violence, India-China border dispute, caste census, conflict between Center and states, natural disaster. Losses incurred are included. Of all the agendas suggested by Sonia, not a single agenda has been included for discussion in the special session.
