Delhi Liquor Scam: Sanjay Singh, arrested by ED in the Delhi Excise Policy scam case, appeared in Rouse Avenue Court today. After this the court refused to grant bail to Sanjay Singh. Also, his judicial custody has been extended till November 24. Two consent forms related to development works were also filed in the court for his signature. The court allowed this. Production warrant from Punjab also came to the court in the defamation case. The court allowed Sanjay Singh to be produced in the court of Amritsar, Punjab. Along with Sanjay Singh, Diwali of Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain and Mohali MLA Jaswant Singh will also be celebrated in jail.

Manish Sisodia’s Diwali also pales in comparison

Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who is jailed in the Delhi liquor scam case, will also celebrate Diwali in jail. Manish Sisodia has not been given permission by Rouse Avenue Court for 5 days to meet his ailing wife. Delhi Court has allowed Sisodia to meet his wife in police custody for a day. According to media reports, Manish Sisodia can meet his wife tomorrow i.e. Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia, accused in the Delhi liquor scam case, had filed an application in the court demanding to meet his ailing wife.

Even Satyendra Jain has no relief

The ED had arrested the AAP leader on May 30 last year on money laundering charges. Jain is accused of laundering money through four companies allegedly linked to him. After this he applied to the Supreme Court for treatment. However, the court gave him medical relief for a few days. Not only this, he has also demanded a regular application in the court but the court had refused to give him relief.

AAP MLA Jaswant Singh in Punjab

Jaswant Singh Gajjan Majra, another Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA in Punjab, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). AAP MLA is accused of bank fraud of Rs 40 crore. According to media reports, ED had summoned Jaswant Singh 3-4 times in this case. But he did not appear for questioning. On Monday, ED had arrested Gajjan Majra when he was holding a meeting with the workers.
