Telangana News: Assembly elections are to be held in Telangana on 30 November. As the election date is approaching, leaders of all political parties are attacking each other fiercely. In this context, on Friday, Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao. He termed the assembly elections to be held in the state this time as a fight between ‘Dorala Telangana’ (Telangana for the dynasts) and ‘Prajala Telangana’ (Telangana for the masses).

While addressing an election rally in Pinapka, Telangana, Rahul Gandhi fiercely targeted CM KCR. He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, Hyderabad which you have looted in the last years, was known as the IT capital of the world. This time there is an election between ‘Dorala Telangana’ and ‘Prajala Telangana’. He said that the people of Telangana are now fed up with KCR. This time the people of the state will show BRS the way out of power.

Congress released manifesto

Let us tell you that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made the latest attack on BRS at a time when Congress has released its manifesto for Telangana. Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has released the manifesto. Congress in its manifesto has promised to give six guarantees to the people of the state. Congress has named the six guarantees as ‘Abhay Hastam’.

Women will get Rs 2500 per month

In the announcement, Congress has promised to provide monthly financial assistance of Rs 2,500 to women under the ‘Mahalakshmi’ scheme. Besides, gas cylinder for Rs 500 and free travel for women in TSRTC buses across the state has also been announced.

Farmers will get financial assistance of Rs 15,000

The party has also announced to provide financial assistance of Rs 15,000 per acre to the farmers. Agricultural workers will be given Rs 12,000 every year. Also, under ‘Rythu Bharosa’, a bonus of Rs 500 per quintal of paddy has been promised.

According to the manifesto, if the party comes to power in the state, it will provide 200 units of free electricity to all households under ‘Griha Jyoti’. Under the ‘Indiramma Indlu’ scheme, the party has also promised to provide house space to those families and financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh for construction of the house.

Under ‘Yuva Vikasam’, students will be provided a financial aid card worth Rs 5 lakh, which can be used to pay college fees. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that 6 guarantees of Congress will help the people of Telangana to realize their dreams.

Voting will be held on 30 November

Let us tell you that voting for the assembly elections in Telangana will be held on 30th November, counting of votes will take place on 3rd December. In the last assembly elections in 2018, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) had won 88 out of 119 seats. Congress stood second by winning 19 seats. In such a situation, Congress is hopeful that it will form the government in the state this time, but political analysts believe that the contest in the state seems to be triangular.
