Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (Volodymyr Zelenskyy) is present in Hiroshima, Japan amid the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. Developed countries including America, Australia have arrived to participate in the G7 Summit. Also, some guest countries have also been invited, including India. PM Modi participated in the meeting of several sessions in Hiroshima. Here he has met the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. In the United Nations meeting, India kept distance regarding the issue of Russia and Ukraine.
PM Modi said – a solution has to be found for this
Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Russia-Ukraine conflict said that Russia and Ukraine war has become a big issue in the world. PM said that I do not consider it just an issue. It is a huge issue for economy, politics and humanity. He said that India and I are doing everything possible to resolve the war. Due to this war, other small and big countries are also suffering a lot.
Earlier, PM Modi and Zelensky had several phone discussions regarding the war between Russia and Ukraine. This is the first time since the war that the two leaders have met face to face. According to media reports, the threat of war has been discussed in the meeting between the two leaders. Along with this, efforts were also discussed in this meeting to maintain peace. NSA Ajit Doval was also involved in this meeting with PM Modi.
Japan is hosting
Japan is hosting the G7 summit as the current chair of the powerful grouping. PM Modi will remain in Hiroshima for the G7 summit from May 19 to 21. During this, discussions are expected on various global issues like food, fertilizer and energy security.
