PM Modi’s attack on opposition including Congress, said – Sengol had not got due respect till now

Sengol has been handed over to PM Narendra Modi today i.e. Saturday evening before the inauguration of the new Parliament building. A grand ceremony was organized at the PM’s residence regarding this. During this, while addressing the acts, the PM said that I bow down before you and greet all of you. I am fortunate that you have come to my residence. It is the blessings of Lord Shiva, because of which I am getting the opportunity to have darshan of you Shiva devotees.

Sengol did not get due respect

At the same time, PM Modi lashed out at the opposition parties, including the Congress, saying that they did not give proper respect to Sengol. I am happy that Sengol, a symbol of India’s great tradition, will be installed in the new Parliament House. This Sengol will keep reminding us that we have to follow the path of duty and be accountable to the public. It would have been better if the holy sengol was given its due respect after independence and given a respectable place, but this sengol was put on display as a walking stick in Anand Bhavan, our government has taken Sengol out of Anand Bhavan Has taken out.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was also present

Let us inform that many scholars took part in this program and handed over Sengol to PM Narendra Modi. During this, PM Modi met Adhinam and received his blessings. At PM Modi’s residence, Adhinam handed over this cultural heritage of transfer of power to him with Vedic chanting. During the discharge of this tradition, 21 subordinates were present on the occasion. Before handing over the Sengol, PM Modi was given a golden angavastram and then he received the Sengol from Adhyanam as per Vedic rituals. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was also present on this occasion.
