Arunachal Pradesh’s first greenfield airport has been built in Itanagar over an area of ​​over 690 acres. It has cost more than Rs 640 crore. Its runway length is 2,300 meters. The airport is suitable for all weather operations. The special thing is that facilities have been made available at the airport to promote energy efficiency, renewable energy and recycling of resources. Doni Polo Airports have been built at the first two places in Arunachal Pradesh. Now with the opening of the third airport, the total number of airports in the north-eastern region of the country will increase to 16.
