Pawan Khera’s interim bail extended till March 17 in the comment case on PM Modi, Assam Police filed reply in SC

The interim bail of Pawan Kheda was extended.

The interim bail of Pawan Kheda was extended.

The Assam Police has filed its reply in the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of interim bail granted by Congress leader Pawan Khera in connection with his comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Supreme Court had granted interim bail to Congress leader Pawan Khera after his arrest at the Delhi airport on February 23 even before he was taken to Assam. Regarding this, the Assam Police has now filed its reply in the Supreme Court. In its reply, the police said that it is necessary to interrogate Kheda in custody.

At the same time, the Supreme Court will hear the case of Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda on March 17. Along with this, the Supreme Court has extended the interim bail of Pawan Kheda till March 17. On behalf of Uttar Pradesh and Assam, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the Supreme Court that an affidavit has been filed in this matter. After this, the Supreme Court said that now the matter will be heard on March 17.

In this case, the Assam Police has said that the apology on behalf of Kheda is just an illusion. He really has no regrets of any kind. Police said that Kheda has taken relief from the Supreme Court by apologizing, but the Congress kept on deliberately writing the name of PM Modi’s father as Gautam Das instead of Damodardas in its tweets and social media. It is clear from this that the people of his party are also involved in this conspiracy in this matter.

Let us inform that in this case of Pawan Kheda, the hearing could not be held in the Supreme Court today due to paucity of time. After this, the matter will be heard in the Supreme Court on March 17. Till then the interim bail granted to him will also continue.
