Now those who give hate speech will not be well. The Supreme Court has ordered strict action against those giving hate speech. The Supreme Court has issued an order to the State Government today i.e. on Friday. The court said that FIRs should be registered against those giving hate speech even without any complaint. If this is not done then action will be taken against those who did not register the FIR. Along with this, the court said that if there is a delay in registering the FIR in the case of giving hate speech, then it will be considered as contempt of court. The next hearing in this matter will be on May 12.

The court extended the scope of the order given in 2022

According to media reports, the court further said that while taking action against those giving hate speech, religion should not be bothered. This is the only way to keep the concept of the country alive. Explain that the court has given this order while expanding the scope of its 2022 order. Earlier, the Supreme Court had given this order only to the governments of UP, Delhi and Uttarakhand. The court has now given this order to all the states and union territories as well.

Earlier, while giving a petition in the Supreme Court, journalist Shaheen Abdullah demanded action against those who gave hate speeches. On October 21, 2022, the court had ordered Delhi, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh governments to register FIRs even without complaint.
