Nicholas Pooran Monster Six: Lucknow Super Giants defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 28 runs in the 15th match of IPL 2024. This is Lucknow’s second win of the season. In this match, Lucknow’s batsman Nicholas Puran batted brilliantly. He scored unbeaten 40 runs in 21 balls. During this innings he hit five sixes and 1 four. Due to Puran’s explosive batting, Lucknow team scored 181 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. While chasing this target, RCB team could score only 153 runs.

Actually, Puran had hit a 106 meter long six in the 19th over of Lucknow’s innings. Reece Topley was bowling these overs. He bowled the third ball of his over, short of length, on which Puran played a tremendous pull shot and the ball came in the middle of the bat and went straight out after finding the roof of the stadium. In this over, Puran hit three consecutive sixes.

RCB lost the match by 28 runs
Virat Kohli and Faf Du Plessis gave a good start to RCB while chasing the target of 182 runs from Lucknow Super Giants. The team had added 40 runs in just 4 overs. But, Kohli was out on this score and after this RCB’s innings faltered and the series of wickets started falling and the entire team was all out for 153 runs.

Mayank took three wickets
Mahipal Lomror (33) was the top scorer. Rajat Patidar scored 29 runs. Mayank Yadav bowled brilliantly and took 3 wickets for 14 runs in 4 overs. Apart from him, Naveen Ul Haq also took 2 wickets.
