Why was the G-7 group established?

How many times did India join G-7

After 2009, exactly ten years later, in 2019, India got the invitation again. This time India was represented by PM Narendra Modi. India will be able to become a permanent member of G-7
If we look at the G-7 Summit held in the last five years, India has been invited as a guest country in all the summits. India’s GDP is almost equal to the G-7 major country Britain. At the same time, it is more than other member countries such as France, Italy and Canada. India is the third largest country in the world spending budget on defence. This is the reason why G-7 has been inviting India to every summit for the last several years, due to which it is being speculated that India will soon become a permanent member of G-7.
