Most sixes, fastest double and triple century, who is Tanmay Agarwal? Who broke many world records in one innings

Who is Tanmay Agarwal: Not one or two…full 26 sixes, batting at a strike rate of 202, it is not impossible to do this in T20 but if a batsman does this in red ball cricket then it will be called charisma. Hyderabad’s opening batsman has done something similar in Ranji Trophy. This batsman has broken the world record with his one innings. Before telling what work this batter does, let us tell you its name. Tanmay Agarwal, playing for Hyderabad, has achieved the feat of scoring the fastest triple century against Arunachal Pradesh in a Ranji Trophy match.

Tanmay Agarwal has scored a triple century in just 147 balls. This is the fastest triple century in the history of first class cricket. Tanmay has broken the record of Marco Marais. Marco, playing for the Border team in 2017, scored a triple century in 191 balls against Easton Province.

Tanmay scored a triple century in 3 hours
It took 183 minutes, i.e. three minutes more than three hours, for Tanyam to complete his triple century. In this way, he became the second fastest batsman to score a triple century in the shortest time in first class cricket. Only Dennis Compton is ahead of him.

He completed his triple century in 181 minutes in 1948 for the North Eastern Transvaal team while playing for MCC. That means two minutes before Tanmay. Dennis had played 261 balls to complete his triple century.

Tanmay was out after scoring 366 runs.
Tanmay could not complete 400 runs and could only score 366 runs in 181 balls. He has scored these runs at a strike rate of 202. Tanmay hit 26 sixes, which is a record in first class cricket. Apart from this, 34 fours came from his bat. That means he scored 292 runs in 60 balls with just fours and sixes.

Tanmay broke Ravi Shastri’s record
During the innings of 366 runs, Tanmay had completed his double century in just 119 balls. This is the fastest number of balls scored by an Indian in first-class cricket (where known). He has broken Ravi Shastri’s record of double century in 123 balls against Baroda in 1985.

Who is Tanmay Agarwal?
28 year old Tanmay was born in Hyderabad. He picked up the bat at an early age and showed his talent during age group cricket itself. He has scored centuries on debut in all age group cricket. He made his way from Hyderabad’s Under-14, Under-16, then Under-19 team and made it to the senior team. Tanmay made his debut in first class cricket in 2014.

Apart from red ball cricket, he also bats brilliantly in T20. Tanmay has so far scored 3533 runs in 55 first class matches at a strike rate of more than 45. He has scored 11 centuries and as many half-centuries. Apart from batting with his left hand, he can also bowl legbreak.
