Mizoram Assembly Elections: Mizoram Assembly elections were concluded peacefully on Tuesday. Of the total 8.57 lakh voters, more than 77 percent voted. Meanwhile, big news is coming out regarding Mizoram Assembly elections. According to news agency ANI, re-voting will be held on 10 November i.e. Friday at 13-Mualungthu polling station in 20-Aizawl South III assembly constituency. For this, votes will be cast from 7 am to 4 pm.
According to reports, officials said that re-polling became necessary because the polling personnel were not successful in the mock poll ahead of the assembly elections held on Tuesday. Its Election Commission has taken this decision on the basis of the Returning Officer’s report and other evidence. A total of 1,084 voters, including 548 women voters, are eligible to exercise their franchise at the polling station, officials said. Along with this, he said that the voting percentage is likely to increase, because the final reports are yet to come from far-flung districts.
