Rain alert in many states on February 28

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for rain in many states on 28 February. Giving information about the weather, IMD senior scientist RK Janamani said that a western disturbance is going to come on February 28. Due to this, there is a possibility of snowfall in Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh of North India. Apart from this, according to IMD, there may be light rain in areas like North Punjab, North Haryana.
According to the Meteorological Department, from February 26, the maximum temperature is likely to increase by 2 to 3 degrees in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan. Along with this, light rain and snowfall are expected in the Western Himalayas from February 26 to 28. From February 27, the maximum temperature may increase over Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
