Maharashtra: Former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has suffered another major setback. On Monday i.e. March 13, Bhushan Desai, son of Subhash Desai, a close aide of Uddhav and senior leader of the Thackeray faction, joined Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena. Earlier, CM Eknath Shinde has taken both the name and symbol of Shiv Sena from Uddhav Thackeray.
Bhushan Desai’s move to the Shiv Sena ahead of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections could be a big loss for Uddhav Thackeray. On the other hand, the departure of Bhushan Desai in the Shinde group is being considered as an important step. Bhushan Desai has joined the Shiv Sena in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Please tell that Bhushan Desai was also accused in the MIDC land scam case in the assembly session. The government had also ordered an inquiry into these allegations.
Bhushan Desai’s father Subhash Desai served as the Minister of Industries and Mines during the Maha Vikas Aghadi regime in Maharashtra.
