Maharashtra: A big news is coming out from Nanded district of Maharashtra. Here 24 patients died in a day in a government hospital. These also include 12 children. In this regard, the Dean of the hospital has pointed out the shortage of medicines and medical staff. According to the information, this is an incident at Shankarrao Chavan Government Hospital. Most of the deaths here, including various diseases, have occurred due to snake bites.
Let us tell you that the deaths in Nanded Hospital occurred just after the Thane incident of August 2023. Earlier, 18 people had died in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa in 24 hours. At the same time, the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi has expressed concern over this incident and has asked Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to take necessary steps. Apart from this, MVA also targeted the State Health Minister Dr. Tanaji Sawant regarding this incident.
Government needs to take cognizance- Ashok Chavan
Congress leader and former Chief Minister Ashok Chavan said that 24 patients have died in the government hospital. The government needs to take full cognizance of this. Patients have died due to various reasons. Apart from this, some patients are serious.
There should be immediate investigation – Supriya Sule
Meanwhile, Baramati MP and NCP leader Supriya Sule said that these deaths are definitely not a coincidence. Each of these deaths should be thoroughly investigated. If so many deaths have occurred in a day, then it is expected that the Chief Minister and the administration will order an immediate investigation considering its seriousness.
