Congress is fiercely attacking the BJP and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s government regarding this.

In this matter, Chief Minister Bommai said that action will be taken on corruption irrespective of the party. At the same time, the MLA said in this regard that this is a conspiracy against my family. Let us inform that the assembly elections are going to be held in Karnataka in a short time. In such a situation, this kind of bribery scandal is being seen as an embarrassment on the reputation of BJP.

According to information, Prashant, Chief Accounts Officer of Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board, was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 40 lakh from a contractor in Karnataka on Thursday i.e. March 2.
